* via a AWStape image
* using a [[BJB]]
 
To use the AWStape image you need a suitable (virtual) tape library, since you can't easily use vtape without TCPIP enabled, resulting in a chicken-and-egg situation.

Before you set up CSI TCPIP, make sure to follow the guide on how to add more DASD. In a default install, you will quickly run out of storage.

There are two ways to install CSI TCPIP:

  • via a AWStape image
  • using a BJB

To use the AWStape image you need a suitable (virtual) tape library, since you can't easily use vtape without TCPIP enabled, resulting in a chicken-and-egg situation.
